LITEON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its May consolidated revenue of NT$13.55 billion, up 8% Y-o-Y and down 1% M-o-M, excluding transferred SSD and Silitech, which would not be consolidated into LITEON’s financial report starting from 2021. Thanks to the stable demand from its core business, cumulative sales for January and May totaled NT$64.91 billion, up 17% Y-o-Y.

Opto-electronics business contributed a 21% share of total sales, of which, the ongoing demand growth from LED components driven by invisible LEDs used in industrial automation, 5G and AIoT applications, UV LED applied to medical, disinfection, water and air purification, smoothly delivery of high-end Mini LED, coupled with shipment growth of LED vehicle lighting supported Opto-electronics a growth of 20% Y-o-Y in May.

Cloud & AIoT business contributed a 27% share of total sales. Thanks to stable demand from datacenter server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, coupled with continued delivery growth of power supplies for AI smart home devices, Cloud & AIoT posted a consecutive yearly growth.

Information Technology & Consumer Electronics business accounted for 52% of total revenue, of which the demand growth from gaming power supplies, smooth delivery of laser models of Multi-Function Peripherals, coupled with ongoing market share gain in IT keyboards and mice supported Information Technology & Consumer Electronics a yearly growth.
